Have 19000 miles on mine now and average around 20.5-21 on flat hwy at 65 or 70mph.

You were up in my neck of the woods. I am from balsam.

I will add that going to Ohio and Kentucky from the Carolinas I get about 19.5-20.5. Really depends on when a regen hits. This truck has been way more consistent than my 08 F250. Before I deleted the Ford I got 15-16 then after would get 17-20 depending on how I drove it on the hwy speed wise. This truck doesnít seem to care though much. The worst Iíve got is low 19ís and best is 21.5 or so. This is of course not towing and running 60-80mph depending on speed limit and traffic etc. Very curious what it could do when fully deleted.

I thought I read in the supplemental duramx book, after the first 500 miles break in, you can tow whatever your rated for? I have been using mine as needed since then.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

I have a 2018 2500, crew cab, standard bed. The truck now has 41,000 miles on it. I just returned from a 16,000 mile round trip from Florida to Alaska. About 70% of the trip I was towing a 7,500# Airstream travel trailer. The bed has an aluminum topper with about 1,000# of generator, tools, and other cargo in it. My average miles per gallon for the whole trip was 13.2.

Just got back from our annual fall trip to Florida. Went from Burlington Ontario to SW Miami area. Towed 44 Ft 5th Wheel, 16.000 lbs, with 2018 3500 HD Duramax 4X4 SRW. Drove 1756 miles @ 10.3 mpg to Miami though NY, PA, OH, West Virginia, Virginal, N & S Carolina etc. Last year I got around 11 mpg, but hit strong head wind in Ohio & S. Carolina.
Miami to Orlando was quite different, got 9.1 mpg with strong head winds.

Heading home without towing, left trailer in Orlando, and got 21.2 mpg, 1296 miles from Orlando to Burlington, Ontario

Very happy with the mileage & best truck I ever owned for towing. Just a monster through the mountains, We stopped overnight in Wytheville Virginia and ran into rain and fog heading south & the 12 mile decline from Virginia to N Carolina. Exhaust brake kept the truck at 60 mph all the way down, not having to touch the brake once. Was down the mountain before I knew it.

Still breaking in the truck, only 1600 miles so far.

Best I have gotten over a 100 miles is 19.76mpg. All hwy with some hills.
Average since new is 16.8mpg
Highway average 19.16mpg
City average 12.38mpg
Not impressed with city mileage at all, much harder than the Cummins but hope it is still in its learning phase and will improve.

I have 11,000 miles and my mileage is the same as yours now, the same when new.
