does it use DEF like the bigger trucks? dont see no tank hanging down anywhere

Yes they do... The fill is in the fuel door.

Buckeye Oil Burners Member

Looks like the oil filter is a pain to get to... Hope they don't over tighten them like they do with the semi engines. I have broke of few of them trying to get them to break loose and remove them.

The filter is on top of the engine, it is that black canister in the photo, that has where you can get a regular socket head on it.
It takes a cartridge filter. Should be a breeze to change, if like you said they didnt install them too tight.

Yeah,looked at it this morning, if i remove the breather tube next to it, it should make it easy.
