Filled up the truck today and hand calculated the mileage, i had an overall average of 26.1 mpg. The Dic was showing 26.4, so it is only 3 tenths off which isnt bad compared to other vehicles ive had. This tank was around 55% highway, 30% city, and 15% gravel roads.

Good for a start but should go up when the engine breaks in

I have an update on fuel mileage. This tank had a few more highway miles on it, hand calculated average is 27.2mpg. I have about 1600 miles on it so far, so i think it will only get better. No problems with the truck so far, and i am still very happy with it. It sure is nice to be able to go about 300 miles on 1/2 a tank of fuel, especially only having a 20 gallon tank.

4000 miles so far and the milage is going up! Averaging 27 now mixed driving. Naturally the warmer weather means no cold starts so I guess that might have a little to do with the better mileage also.

Warmer weather and getting away from that winter blend diesel sure helps.
If you get a chance MeanMax, post up some photos of your rig in the sticky photo thread so we can take a look.
