U1800 code still starts and drives...ish

Stats on the truck.
2004 Silverado 4x4 2500 lb7
Efi live 5ps
Fass lift pump (previous owner bypassed oem fuel pump
New ficm
New engine harness and ECM TCM harness

So the truck will throw the u1800 code at random I've checked all the grounds swapped the ficm e.t.c etc
Previous owner said problem started after he got the tune put on thr truck.
Would there be any reward in taking the truck to get the factory tune?

Ive taken the truck in to several shops but the issue conveniently dissapears. And I get stuck with a 500 dollar bill.

U1800 Just a few threads on your code. Maybe something in one of these might help. Google (Duramax U1800) lots to read.
