Bit of white smoke when I take off

I just bought my first diesel 03 lb7 and it will smoke like a pig at startup for at least 20 min, been about 40 degree mornings. But I feel that to be normal. Anyways after warmed up a few miles in it will clear out but at a light it will puff a bit of white then clear under load. Kid I bought it from said he just replaced the injectors and glow plugs in like November 2019. (Now 1/7/20) would they have re done the head gaskets normally? Just dont wanna screw this pickup already. Stock truck but has cali compliant exhaust, 4in I believe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i did i called the shops where he lived till i found records. and turns out the previous owner bought his own and had them installed. So no warranty on the work or injectors. turns out cyl 1s injector balance rate is at +15 so i gotta replace them figured id do them all get plus 50hp ones so flow rates will be even. I appreciate you trying to help though

You need proper tuning for anything over stock.
You plan on building the trans. Stock sticks can push 600hp.
