Just keep it running, of course the ball joints, wheel bearings, fuel sender, dashboard, transfer case, u joints, various seals, power steering pump, power steering lines, trans cooler and lines have been replaced at least once. Water pump somewhere around 300k, wore out the steering wheel too and replaced that.I do spray down the brake lines with either corrosion stop or fluid film, I'm shocked those are original and I'm just at the end of my SECOND set of brake pads!!!

Crate motor? Lol! Except for the water pump/T-stat the engine is untouched (I don't consider the turbo part of the engine) so this 600k+ is on the original CP3, Regulator, Injectors and glow plugs! Allison is all original too.

Maintenace costs for those miles is north of 20k which includes 5 sets of tires.

I have about 3000 kms on a LLY head swap I did on my 03 LB7. New gaskets and hoses everywhere.
Water pump was done recently.
As was rear diff.
I just had my brakes and PS flushed yesterday. Black as tar.

My only concern is the turbo I got with the donor apparently has 574000kms on it. Unless it was replaced by PO.
Weeee bit of shaft play. Obviously does not hit the housing.

The injectors also have that many kms as far as I know. Balance rates are pretty good. No smoke. Just had em cleaned and tested. A few failed at WOT. Meh. I put the worst ones in easy to access locations.

Hopefully ol' stinky pig holds!

None

It has the original head gaskets, injectors, CP3, FPR

Just a leaky water pump, I even re-used the outer pump cover which had begun to pit on the inside.

I did recently rebuild the fuel filter head, and I bumped into a rusted fuel line by the tank and it broke so they should all be replaced but haven't gotten around to it.yet.

I also installed a PPE oil pan... but just because I wanted one, nothing wrong with the original.
