How does it run? Are they thinking cracked piston? Dealer will probably take 50-60 hours to swap an engine.

Ask your dealer next time your in there. All dealers should be the same. They look up the job that needs to be done and it shows how many Hours for that job. That doesn’t mean it will take them tha long but this is what you are charged.

Example the set job for engine replace is 30hrs and it takes them 24hrs you still will be charged 30hrs

The truck runs fine . I tow a 16000 lb 5th wheel no problem. Clear codes then they come back, Dealer to compression test and if it passes ,it will be something in software programming.

Dealer tech said everything mechnical passed test, Tech looking at Airdog lift pump.
said airdog lift pump showed 12 lb pressure
going to by pass lift pump and see if codes don't reoccur.

Airdog tech said if pump puts out to much pressure there would be a fault code for Fuel Pressure Regulator.FPR not injectors out of limit codes.
