glow plug nut size

While changing out a dead #6 glow plug I managed to lose the 8mm nut because I assume the nuts were captive to the harness. Nope. Does anybody know what size it is so I can locate one in the morning to finish up the job?

Take one with you to a big box store. They have charts you can screw yours on to get right size. I would also get SS

That was it. Picked up some at the local farm store. What a pain the rear. Why did they not make the nut captive to the harness. Would sure make it a whole lot easier.
