anybody have a ''h&s mini maxx tuner?

I need to clear/delete the ''EGR bypass coolent valve system,

so I can get home

its in 55mph limp mode

ive talked to 2 different shops here and nobody has a tuner in-stock

and local chevy dealer wants $3200 and lift the cab to replace the valve,on a 2013 Silverado 2500

Do you need a tuner, specifically, to do what you want? Most national auto parts stores ( O'reilly's, Autozone, etc) have pretty sophisticated scanners that will read and clear most all DTC codes and they do it without any charge.

dmax3500 03-08-2019 01:03 PM

yes,im told I need a tuner

I have a ''tech2'' in the truck, and every time I clear the code it comes right back,

I cant cycle the ''EGR COOLENT BYPASS VALVE'' from 0-100%,only 80-90%,,egr bypass motor goes from 0-100%-when commanded

the valve is probably ''sooted-up''

if I could get a tuner to kill the ''EGR'' system I could get back home

this damned GOV emissions crap is killing the whole diesel truck market

Glad you are back on the road and thanks for the update.
I've moved this thread over to the "LML section" for any further follow up posts.
