2015 lml crank no start in cold.

i have a gmc 2015 lml that will crank but won't start just recently. it has has not started three times now, i thought it was the DEF or something to do with that. i was informed it will run but you can't drive so fast, then i thought it might be the fuel pump. when i pumped it up i didn't see any fuel come out of it so i figured it was good. i just don't know what else to look at, help please!!!!

I'm sure if you had the CEL light on you would post your codes.
Hope it's not this.
Remove the high pressure regulator from the high pressure pump and check for metal debris. If there is metal found, the entire high pressure fuel system must be checked for metal and replaced as needed. GM recommends replacing the injection pump, rails, high pressure fuel lines, fuel injectors, fuel return rails, indirect fuel injector, and indirect injector fuel feed tubes if metal is found. Cost 10k-15k

I highly doubt it's your CP4. I've never heard of one causing a no start and then running after. Is it cold when this issues happens? What do you do to get it started after it fails to start?
