CP4 Update

Well, my friend has finally started on my truck and almost have it completely wrapped up. I get to pick up later this week. I been without her for 6 months and I need her back BAD! Here is a few pics of the progress

I hope your right but it seems people have lost their CP4 with pumps and lube too? I have to say I think about it every time I start up my truck!!

I'm not going to worry about it. Now if it happens it happens. At least i tried. I won't be sitting their kicking my self saying I should have installed a lift pump or use lube.. The last thing I'm thinking about doing is installing an Exergy Performance system saver inlet metering valve.

WCFab - CP4 Fuel System Saver for LML Duramax - YouTube
Mines still under warranty so if I take any preventative measures it could void it. When it goes out of warranty I'll probably change to a CP3 unless something else develops in the mean time?

From Fass FAQ page:
Does Fass void factory manufacturers warranty?

No, FASS does not void factory manufacturer warranties because our products meet their filter specifications.

I didn't look into the installation yet but is the Exergy Saver installed on the pump or on the fuel rail. If it's on the pump how long did it take to install and is it hard to get to?

FASS can say what they want however I'd rather GM say FASS doesn't void factory manufacturers warranties.....it's just a matter time someone goes to the dealer for fuel system problems with a FASS pump first thing out of the dealership mouth......warranty voided......"customer"...well FASS says the pump won't void the warranty...."dealership".......well tell FASS to cover the cost....

I asked the GM service manager and he said it would void the warranty?
