2013 LML 5" straight isnt loud whatsoever!?

I recently picked up a 2013 LML.. it is stock performance wise other than deletes, a 5" straight pipe and an H&S tune. The first thing I notice every time when I start it up is that it's missing the deep exhaust tone, and when you hear the turbo veins sort of suck air and hiss like a jet, it's just on a very very quiet level. It sounds like it has a muffler but it's a full straight. When driving and you get on it, it has the screech that the LBZ duramax and on always has, but other than that there is hardly any whistle or sound driving slower and doesn't sound anything like other duramax LBZ, LMM or LML'S with a full 5". Is there something I'm missing? This is the first LML I've owned. I've looked for anything on the exhaust that would deaden the sound and decrease the crazy whistle and exhaust notes these trucks have but don't see anything. I'm confused lol! Thanks for any input!

The hiss is normal from the VVT turbo, however you must have a cat on it still or some type of bullet muffler, i don't know what else could be the issue. If its an actual 5 inch straight pipe it should be loud as hell when you get on it, mine is.

Silly question... But did you open a window, or have someone else drive the truck so you can hear it? My 2011 is pretty quiet, with my 5".
