I am with ya LW, I don't think Government Motors will ever use a SFA. Guess Ford will be getting the market for the new F450. I have always liked my truck, but now got to deal with my trany lines.

They put bigger tires on.

They changed the bolt pattern on the wheels.

They did bump GVWR way up. Front GAWR is up to 6000#s and GM now authorizes a snowplow on any cab configuration with Diesel. That's nice, the front GAWR on my 3500 is only 4800#s, the dealer wouldn't put a plow on my truck when I bought it and I had to shop 3 plow installers to find one that would mount a plow on it. The frame still hangs wicked low though.

We have made the wheel nuts for GM trucks and a lot of the cars for over 20 years, if you think that's bad wait till you see what they're paying us to develop for the cars starting in 2012. I hope they change course but......................

Still won't do anything to replace the discontinued Kodiaks. Not sure where you saw the fuel capacity? I also didn't see any Dmax specs. What is the new HP/torque rating for the engine? They say the new truck is heavier and they wanted to maintain the acceleration so they must have beefed the engine.

This is GMs announcement
