No fuel condition

Just rebuild engine. Can’t get fuel out of injector lines. Lift pump good. Checked all grounds. Only getting 0.3 volts on green wire on pdm. So must be ecm right? Green wire to ecm is good. This is a 1998 Chev pickup. Not sure right place for post suggestions please. Sent ecm away and got returned they said it is all good. But I live in africa so not 100% guys know what they doing

So was the engine running okay before you rebuilt it?If all was well before the engine was removed and installed it has to be a poorly seated harness connection or corrosion in one of the harness pins.Or a harness pin that gets pushed back slightly when you attempt to reconnect it.Doesnt take much to make this type of fuel system upset....lol.I know you checked the grounds but did you check the grounds at the rear section of the passenger side cylinder head?

How long did you crank? It takes a relatively long time to crank with pause to cool down starter after a rebuild plus you need 2 strong/tip top shape batteries.

Did you hook up the 3 ground wires to the right rear intake manifold bolt?

I cranked for about 20 x 20 second cycles, even connected vacuum pump to return line. but can get fuel vacuumed through? even with ignition on and cranking...

The harness that goes into the PMD i’d check carefully. They are pretty cheap on eBay.I’ve seen some of the connector harness pins push back slightly enough to not make connection. Also something else I would do is take out the fuel pump relay and use a jumper wire to keep the lift pump running while you crank it over.I’ll be back in a few moments with some pictures.

Here are a few pictures showing how to bypass the fuel pump relay to keep the lift pump running while you attempt to start the engine and have a look at your harness like what’s pictured here.Look at the blue arrow areas. These pins can push back from their locations causing you lots of grief.
