PMD Resistor Value Chart

This is all I could find when searching.

Resistor Fuel delivery mm3/1000 strokes Resistance value Stanadyne p/n
1 -4 4300-4500 ohm 30892
2 -3 7200-7400 ohm 30893
3 -2 9800-10100 ohm 30894
4 -1 13100-13500 ohm 30895
5 0 17500-18000 ohm 30896
6 +1 27700-28300 ohm 30897
7 +2 43700-44700 ohm 30898
8 +3 58400-59600 ohm 30899
9 +4 79800-81400 ohm 308900

Wasn't there another chart that actually came from Stanadyen that had a # 10 value on it?

I saw a listing on some parts site that had resistors up to a #12. I tried to go back and find it but no luck.

I suppose one could put a higher ohm resistor on the little board that goes in the connector. I'm not sure if that would give more fuel of burn up the pmd.

See page 8 of this: Stanadyne IP Service Bulletin

It only shows 9 values.

It should throw a DTC as the computer only has 9 adjustment tables in it for the different resistors. If it reads something out of range, it should throw the pump resistor error. Not sure if it will hurt anything else as i'm not willing to try. It could take some time to throw the DTC as well since the PCM doesn't read the resistor all the time.

FWIW, hardly seen anything below 5 but they probably exists.
Most popular is probably 9 and 5 although Heath usually gives a 7 with his kit.
