Installing GMTDScan in Admin Mode (Windows)

Hello, this is a step-by-step, guided installation for installing and activating the licensed version of GMTDScan on Windows based PCs. This method has been tested and used on the following versions of Windows;

- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
- Windows 8 & 8.1
- Windows 10 (At this writing is W10 Technical Preview)

These include 32 & 64 bit versions, also known as x86 and AMD64.

As GMTDScan was written as a 32 bit application for Windows, it will not run on ARM based Windows Surface RT devices.

- This guided install was completed on Windows 10 Technical Preview, 64 bit, using a physical laptop PC

- Each part of the installation is numbered for reference if you have questions. Please refer to this number if asking for help or have a comment\suggestion

- This guided installation includes additional steps that may not be necessary for your installation, and will be noted as optional items

- The install steps have been added to a document for offline installation

Lol, would like to do that but there is a critical issue. When uploading screenshot pictures, the site automatically downgrades the pict, Im guessing to save space & bandwidth. This renders the screen shots unusable because of the muddy quality and is the reason for the document.

Looking at alternatives to posting screenshots. I see the DP form uses amazonAWS for picture hosting and might have something to overcome this. The other choice is send the pictures to another webserver I manage and link them to the post that way.
