The purpose of the paperclip test is to verify a bad relay and/or make the LP run.
The test terminal in the DLC won't help diagnosing a bad relay.

Yes, using the G pin won't test a bad relay but if you just want the LP to run it saves removing the cover over the relay and taking the relay apart.

Found these pictures of LPR and LP Fuse weather proof box locations on '94 w/ alternative LP Jump trick.

May identify the earlier unidentified weather box w/ only 2 wires.

The relay just un-plugs like any other relay. No covers or anything to take apart.

There's a cover on mine. It covers the buss bar and the relay. Attaches with 3 plastic nuts.
