"destroyer" (San Antonio, TX)

94 Chevy 3500 Silverado 6.5 L turbo diesel dually "destroyer" 1 ton

Ad: Good mechanical condition. Drives real straight. Tows like a beast. It does what it was made to do well, Truckin' on with 316,000 miles

Good cosmetic condition. Interior is pretty cool, with real wood and nice inlays. Carpet is in good condition. Clear coat is worn in some areas on outside. Body kit is well done. Plenty of personality, I get a lot of compliments in this thing!

The good:
Automatic transmission
Cold A/C
Hot hot heat
Cruise control
Power windows
Python alarm system and wireless entry
Trailer brakes
2nd motor
Cobra CB radio
comfortable adjustable power driver seat
Clean Michigan title in my name
Alpine stereo head unit USB hook up for iPod etc
Not rusty!

The bad:
Sub woofer in carpeted box with Kenwood 600 W amp. Amp lights up, sub woofer is not making sound. Sub also has a rip in it. 6 inch I believe, Maybe eight.
"service engine soon" comes on occasionally as you drive, as has done so for the last few years.
It is a 20-year-old truck, there are some details.
Rear 4 tires have ~60% of life, front 2 are quite worn.
Some of the little square yellow body decoration lights don't light up.
Motor, transmission, coolant, and power steering pump all have very slow leaks. I check fluid levels every 1,000 miles or so, and top off as needed.

Thank you

OK:

1. "Some of the little square yellow body decoration lights don't light up." Guess destroyer dont know clarence
2. 316,000 miles
3. Truck Nuts........really???

Update - 1996 Suburban Cummins 12 valve 6BT - $10000 (Denver)

This one is still for sale. Price is down $1,000 from before.

Ad: "Need the shop space.
$10k CASH Takes it home. No tire kickers and no low ballers.

Contact at 720-988-5seven4four if you have questions.

Super clean, super rare cummins swapped suburban.
Runs and drives great, clean all around.
Suburban was a Chevy diesel before the swap
Clean title, passes emissions in Denver County.
Brand new dick cepek tires and matte black wheels.
12 valve p-pumped cummins.
Rebuilt Dodge tranny with OD switch and torque converter lock up switch with receipts (5k)
Interior is in very good condition for its age.
The mileage is unknown, motor runs amazing and shows like new, the transmission has very low miles on the rebuild.
Was painted recently and looks great with all the trim removed.
Gauges need wired or pop in a 12v cluster.
The truck is 2 wheel drive. Great tow rig for race car or boat.

I do not have time to show the truck to non serious buyers. Thanks."

I do not have time to look at a truck with no gauges. Wonder how the emissions tester was able to determine the speeds for the opacity test

Front Gears to match Rear
Back seat and center console need upholstered to match front
Interior is still tan, needs a donor to swap out to gray. Can easily find a donor on Craigslist for cheap, I just don't have the time.

Just need to let it go, no time for it and just need to get my other projects done. I am still driving it from Morgan Hill to San Jose daily while I'm building my tow rig. This is a great daily driver, overland vehicle, or first rig. My wife drove it to run the kids around the bay area all the time until the pump took a crap. Now that I replaced it and she got a new car I'm driving every day until it's sold.

$15,000
No Trades, considering all serious cash offers."

Whaaat? No truck nuts
