Stepper motor leaking fuel 1995

Found the source of fuel leak, the stepper is dripping fuel. It seems to be leaking from to top flange (held down by two torx screws).

Before I removed it... can I with the IP in the truck? Or should I just pull the pump, and install a reman. Truck has 96k on it, may already have a reman pump installed.

OK, the stepper motor mounts on the side opposite side of the PMD. It is the black thing down near the bottom center/right in this picture:

If I understand your post correctly, something is leaking from the top of the IP. Can you ID what is leaking from this picture? If I misunderstood, sorry I have a terrible head cold

Stepper motor is an external and can't leak fuel.
The fuel leak must be coming from either the top cover(rubber seal) or either of the hex head bolts(check for being loose) just above and to the front of the stepper.
Top bolt is a plug, the other one holds the internal transfer pump in place and doubles as fuel path (kind of like a banjo bolt)there's 0 rings on it.O rings can be had in any Auto or hydr supply store
Can be got at with IP in place.

Glad you got it fixed. What did you do to take care of it?
