Seriously though, I may go that route if this doesn't work out. Looks like a nice piece and price seems ok to me. I just wanted to give this a try.

soldier on and make it just like you want, after all the welding is finished, go to your local machine shop and have it milled flat again, been there, done that with our current center mount; when i was welding it, the t-3 flanged warped and needed to be planed flat again, and it was 1/2"...... i am figuring the reason you want custom, is to eliminate 90 degree bends, which kill performance..... and the penn. upper is kind of set up for [email protected] degrees......

Well this project got set aside for a while, but not forgotten. I started getting interested again that last couple weeks. Ordered up a few parts and pieces from siliconintakes. Not sure that these are the parts I will need, but I wanted to at least have something around for trial fits.

I've worked a few more minutes on the upper intake as well, but don't have any photos that I'm willing to share.

Going to be a couple more weeks at least before I make any more significant progress.
