Good Tech/Shop needed Sandusky Ohio area

Hi!

I am trying to help a Gentleman in the Huron or Sandusky Ohio general areas who owns a 6.5L with some strange issues that need more help than can be provided via phone and e-mail. He is being taken for a big ride at the dealership, if anyone could reccomend a good honest shop or tech in that area that could handle 6.5L technology, he (and I) would be most grateful!

Thank you in advance!

This guy got a way to sign on here... like to follow this story. What's it doing?

Doing more than just stalling I take it?

Not sure!

I'm not sure, but I'll see if I can get him to join - the more minds the better! Yes, more than stalling - low RPM operational difficulties, buck/surge, etc....

International Fuel Systems is in Findlay, Ohio. I wouldn't call them experts with the 6.5, but it might be a starting point. If the information gets deleted, PM me.

Chances are, it's been posted here once before....

Are they high and dry?

I heard on the radio this week that downtown Findlay is just starting to open back up.

I hadn't given that a thought after all the rain we had. I'd think they would have been fine just off 75. In fact, you can see their shop from the highway. Although, I thought I'd not see water in the second story of houses in Bucyrus, either...

findlay is dried up for the most part. i live just north of there. I second the suggestion of IFS in findlay, they have a decent understanding of the 6.5 system. there really isn't any other pump/diesel shops in northwest ohio. my truck pullin buddies mostly go to columbus or over to indiana. and i don't even know if those places would touch the 6.5.
