turning up ip

Hey there,
Trucks running good.Wondering about turning up my manual ip on my 93.Never messed with it,but a buddy of mine said it sounded out to him.What does this change exactly?How do you time this engine for optimum performance?Also,I have a gm3 turbo.Are these things a real trick to rebuild?

To turn your pump up check this out, http://www.stylinconcepts.com/images...ions/96309.pdf its the Banks stinger kit instructions and on pages 11 to 13 it tells you how to turn up the pump. It probably won't help with hp if you havn't opened up the exhaust and intake (delete the snorkle) and increase boost pressure. Will likely cause to high of exhaust temps and burn more fuel.(don't do without egr gauge)

Turbos last a long time how many kms. does your truck have.

If you pull a trailer dont touch the pump. I messed with mine and could never get the egt's back down. Just my experience but something to think about.

Use a 5/32 allen wrench and go thru the side cover.
