Poly mounts made my van shudder more

What's up guys I'm new to DP and Chevy diesels so bare with me as Il be asking a lot of noob questions

I have a 83 6.2 cargo van had the trans rebuilt and have shuddering issues since. Turns out that there was no trans mount on the trans when it got returned. anyway so I mounted one and it stopped the shuddering when driving(rpms) and ran really good but still had shuddering at idle. The idle bothered me so much that I thought I'll just change the mounts to PU and it should go away. Turns out once I put them in and started it up it shuddered more and shuddered when the rpms we raised. I figured it may have been the trans mount that wasn't tightened properly but it wasn't that. I even bout a PU trans mount and still no difference. The motor mounts are on correct(small tab facing up) at least i think it's the right way. As far as I know the HB is good no signs of deterioration. and the fact that there was no shudder at rpms before I changed them out. I crack the injector lines to see if and of the cylinders changed the idle and nothing. I'm at wits end with it and and ready to change back to my old rubber ones just so I don't have to rattle down the street anymore. Any help would be useful thanks in advance. Cheers.

Yeah there's constant vibration. Worst at low rpms (around 2000) and get a little better as I go through the gears. Is this normal for new PU mounts or should I drive around for a week to brake then in a little. Really annoying me

What happens at idle if you press in the advance leaver on the IP?

It’s the levery bit on the passenger side of the IP, press on the bottom part with what ever you have that reaches it.

The poly mounts for me didn't make the truck vibrate a lot more, but it was more. Does it do it in neutral also? I'm wondering if you got a bad torque converter or something?

I didn't read you post just the title! Ill say this. I installed es poly mounts in my 94 with no reference because I bought with a bad engine. Installed polys with new motor and had vibration. Few months later I feel like they broke in and now a few years later theyre great. I say give it some time.
