When you need more room underneath and you don't like jack stands.

Not bad, what re they rated too hold?

My problem is the older I get the harder the concrete gets!

I want a lift in my dream shop that will hold the dually...

They're rated at 2,000 lb's apiece.

You can find them at www.myliftstand.com

They're pricey, but the guy that manufactures them is about 30 miles away from me and I was able to see them in person before I bought.

This is one reason I went with a lifted K20, plenty of room under there without having to get jacks out. :p:

But those thing Paddy posted would be handy to work under my TDI's
But they are about $260 a pair from what I could find on the net.

Heck I'd love to have a piece of concrete to work on never mind a garage.
It beats rolling around on pieces of card board in the dirt.

paddy1998 08-16-2019 03:16 PM

I originally bought them for my 71 Triumph spitfire, which sat about three inches off the ground.

Oh your preachin’ at the choir there ... I wrench outdoors in the dirt unless it can be carried in a walk through door.

I spent the best part of 40 days rebuilding my Big Burb this year... it sucks !!

Pebbles in the dirt get sharper. Upgrade from cardboard to a big sheet of plywood or lay down a 'crete pad. Maybe next year

A 'crete pad would be a huge upgrade, but like you say maybe next year.
