6.2 glow plug module test?

Thank you again any one for help, much appreciated and needed!
This truck has more than a couple issues, first the glow plug module with a test light shows power to the power side, but when i ground the test light and put on passenger side and of the module, or fuseable link side which feeds? The glow plugs and cycle the plugs with ignition, i get no test light? Does this mean the module is out? Did i test this correctly? Thanks again for ant much needed help!

There should be power in on one side from the battery and the other should have power when the controller turns on.

No power coming out of the controller? It blown and you need a new one.

So basically you should have power at the GP and at the GP controller when it's on.

At the GP's them selves if there is no power there are fuse able links that can blow. You'll have power on one side and nothing on the other. They are the black licorice looking thing in the GP wiring. If it has blown simple cut out and join the wires but make sure the harness isn't shorted or that you have any shorted GP's.

To test the glow plug wires them selves do i just hook a test light up to the fuseable link side of the control module and the other end to the disconnected glow plug wire and cycle plugs? And see if light the test light? I watched a you tube video and that is what they said but he actually hooked it to the power side of the module? Ireally do look and read before asking, but lots of mis information out there, once again eternally grateful for any help!

Yes, hook up the test light at the GP connector to see if the fuseable links are good.
