check the rock auto, for all those lines on clearance, was like $18.00 CDN plus shipping... cable internet is not fun when its -20F and the cable tightens from the pole to the house and the connection becomes patchy, and we need to take turns going out with our reaching stick and tapping the line to get our connection back...

We just call the cable company, service is free. Its the phone company that charges to fix their faults.

The internet and telephone come in on same coax, no television (you guys are entertaining enough for me....LOL). Usually the internet is the first to show the signs of a problem. Tried to get them to move the wire, but no go. When we finally finish our underground to the shop, we will have the coax re-routed to the pole, then hopefully problem finished.....

I had the same issue on a new coax from the pole, every time we got a cold snap it would start dropping. Think it took the 2nd call where the service man found something not hooked up right, been good since.

I had the same sort of issue with the phone company. They never could fix it, dealing with 3rd world customer service didn't help
