Nice, all those badges will clean up with some steel wool, hand paint and clear.

Not much point in messing with ratty marker lenses. They are $5-10 new, depending if you want chrome trim, I have a few faded ones here you can drop by and get.

yep, started cleaning them up already, just went ahead and painted the backs with chrome paint to seal them up, getting ready to do some fine brush/tooth-pick painting on the letters, then a nice polish with the wool, then the clear, they will be nicer than the fenders they will live on....LOL

fine artist brushes are cheap at the dollar store. You don't have to be too exact in painting, whatever is excess paint, will just rub off the chrome when dry. It usually takes 2-3 coats unless your using a thick enamel, I didn't. I could now, I have a nice Armour Coat GM orange left from painting some chairs on the weekend.

newer front valance maybe, but the 1973-78 have a skinnier grill, with a 4" valance underneath it, i will compare the 2 here and take pics, gives me an excuse to bring it in and thaw off the ice, and clump of leaves on the end sitting on the ground...LOL
