Early 6.2 Controller Cheap Solution

Getting my C10 ready for the cold. Hooked the dog heater back up today and installed a idle switch. Started thinking I should really install an override button for these glow plugs. Easiest solution was to use a gm alternator plug. I switched the wires so red was on the correct side added a ring terminal for a self tap ground and ran a wire from my button in the cab. I brought power from an existing fuse on the panel to my button. With the key on and pressing the button the "glow plugs" light illuminates on the dash also I think ill roll with the controller for a while I just dont see it lasting much longer.
