rubber hose vs steel hardline fuel leak

well one of my fuel lines is leaking not sure witch one yet they were just as rotted as my brake lines (around the frame clips) and this morning i came out to a wet suspension soaked in diesel

I don't have the time to fit new steel lines in ans was thinking of running regular rubber hose from the tank to the lift pump.

i can get Inboard marine rubber hose witch is way better than anything you will find in any auto parts store

im freaking out what do you guys think

It been done lots before, switching to rubber is fine as long as the diesel won't rot it.

Different sizes here.
https://www.dieselplace.com/forum/63-...ine-sizes.html

J&J talk about the steel line size here, so rubber would be too suit.
https://www.dieselplace.com/forum/5456778-post22.html
5/16" and 3/8"
honestly, a hard item to search out, the terms are too generic.

Someone should add it to the FAQ's

I think it's 3/8 to the fuel filter and 5/16 from filter to IP

But Zetan already answered that i guess

so the blazer takes exactly 15 feet of rubber hose from the tank to the return on the engine.
this has not solved my cornering problem.

Replace the tank pick up/sending unit would be my best guess.
