Old School Oil Burners (Old SOBs) Member

Just wire the exhaust riser open, and forget it.


Make sure you plug the line into the air clearer or it will suck dirt in.

THE "shutter" can be left disconnected. Vacuum pulls it closed to increase the amount ex. gases to the egr. No need to wire anything.

I don't quite get what you mean, I think i've swapped air cleaners to a J-code one. etc. I'll have to look.

The little guy discovering rolling coal covered in soot.
EGR is barf. Tear that engine destruction device right off.
Down here truck has inspection every year. EGbaRf is mandatory. The "inspectors" are so clueless with their dumb face tats and born after 9/11. They can't even open the hood. Puzzled pointing a pen size flashlight under the dash and an OBD scanner in the other hand. Eventually eagerly "APPROVED" stamping after they get discouraged by the loud diesel clack, hot air blowing, fans and belts buzzing around setup for fat fangerz chopping off.
