Interesting a Silverado with a/c but no power windows, still
wouldn't mind owning it

1984 Chevy Suburban diesel rear wheel drive

Here's a 2wd suburban in MN that I looked at last fall before I found the 91.
If anyone is interested I can tell you about it.
He had it at 2000 when I looked at it. I wanted to buy if for the motor which was really clean.
I pointed out that there was no alternator belt on it when I was looking under the hood and the guy had no idea. Hydroboost leaking all over the floor and not going into overdrive. Still pondering it.

Yeesh, now I really want a 6.2 Suburban...

My 86 Silverado has manual windows and AC... I ripped what was left of the AC out though

Truck looks like mine, minus I have a lighter color combo. Interior is damn near identical!

That IS a nice looking truck though. I like the way it sits, ready to work

OK, got it to work this time: 1987 Chevy Silverado 6.2 Diesel

went out to breakfast the other day and my kids started walking to a different suburban in the lot. they even had the exact same paint color (must be rustoleum fans) but it was slammed. never quite got the appeal of a lowrider suburban... prefer mine so high you need a rope ladder like on a tree house to get in :)
