Then you could make yours a 5 spd :D

would love it, but i just had a 4l60/4l65 hybrid built... probably would have been cheaper or same price to convert it to a nv4500... plus that newer burb has a 4l80e, cant complain with that.

when either 1) it warms up or 2) clean up my garage, ive got a whole mess of parts to put on. 4" skyjacker lift and shocks, stearing gear, new tires...got all this stuff just sitting there but its been super rainy.

I'm just glad they are willing to kick their ford habit :)

Anytime someone kicks a ferd habit is a good day :)

Yeah I hear where you're coming from. I've got a pile of parts and a huge "to-do" list on both my Diesels. Then theres the two gassers that sit here wanting to be fixed. My garage is very very cold. And its been either super cold and dry or kinda cold and wet here all year long.

smackzed 02-03-2014 05:36 PM

A local mechanic I know had a 6.2 for a tow rig for years. It wasn't used daily necessarily but certainly mutliple times weekly
