1991 chevy k5 diesel blazer custom 1 ton 4x4 military

Gotta a feeling this guy is gonna have this blazer for a while 16k firm lol

those seats are ugly like hell, the truck is alright, but waaayyy over priced, and what military CUCV used the 4l80e?

I see trucks like that all the time around here, usually with a big block or a built small block. Asking $15k firm in the spring (built it up during the winter, then they sell in the fall for $5800 or something which is still a lot but at least reasonable

That's what I was thinking, maybe I should call him and question, he obliviously doesn't know what he has LOL

Why? What else would they have used in '91? Th400 still? What about the 6.5 CUCV's? what did they use?

It might have been out of a 91 crew cab which I don't think would be CUCV.
To me a CUCV is a 1 and 1/4 ton truck anything else is just a normal truck we could buy at the stealership.

I just don't get it. After '91 the th400 was replaced by the 4l80e. What did the CUCV's use '91 and later?

CUCV's were made from 1983-1987 (83 and 87 models are rare). They are all based on the 1984 model year. They did not receive newer parts from year-to-year as the civilian models did.

All CUCV variants had TH400 3 speeds.

There are apparently what is called CUCV II's, they were based on the GMT400 body style. Maybe they had 4L80E's in them.

Ok, interesting, I didn't realise that. What trucks did the army power with detuned 6.5s. The same '84 type trucks? I saw a Cnd military 6.5, I'm guessing 1999 or so a couple years ago driving in the city. I figured the American military used GMT400's powered with 6.5's after '93
