1989 Chevy 1 ton dually 4wd

I went to look at this truck last night. His definition of a little rust on the drivers rocker was a hole the size of.. well the Entire rocker panel. It was well hidden in his pictures as well as the dually fenders missing some nice big chunks. Truck wouldn't start due to weak batteries and after about 90 seconds I had seen enough. No indication of a 30,000 mile goodwrench engine as claimed and the new tires were only new to him. Truck looked hammered from day one. I politely said "you might have a tough time getting $2500 for this truck" his response was "ill just keep it then" I said thanks anyways and left. The truck needed to be hauled over the scale and crushed. No joke. I got about a mile away and my phone started alerting me. : His desperation quickly showed. I had to be polite. Couldnt help but laugh though.

Used trucks are bringing stupid money right now.

I sold my clapped out 95 K1500 for $900..
265K+, rotted cab corners and rockers.
ABS and air bag light on and no brakes.
(Guy I sold it to won't call me back or return my emails, I think he has buyer remorse )

Why are you trying to get in touch with him again? Do you have seller's remorse?

At least you were very polite about it. If I had wasted time to go see an over priced rot box and the guy was obviously being sneaky, I possibly would have lost my cool and definitely wouldnt have been nearly as polite in expressing my displeasure.

LOL Hell no, next truck won't have bull-sheet abs or airbags...

I left the mount for a hoist that was in the back, he wanted to take the truck that night and I didn't want him to sleep on it LOL so I didn't a chance to unbolt it from the bed and frame.

It was one of these...
