so those throttle plates up there are just for show? or are they gonna be in a "float" setting where they just open or close by the air rushing in?

also are you going to jam a flat style airfilter between the blower and that hat?

hi. The hat is most fore show but it will work as a ( throtle) im going to use 2 wieres one to the injektion pump and the otherone to the hat. ( so the hat works like a gasoline engine)

My first idea was to drive without any air filter. but i maybee put a filter inside the hat..

dont run it like a gas one. that will just cause trouble with your engine. a diesel wants all the air it can have at all times. fuel is the only throttling factor. so id say just leave em open when the engine is on and closed when its off.

Glad to see you are back, Nicolas.... been waiting to see your progress.

Sorry you had to sell the Chevy, but nice that you restored it first to give it a second life...

I wounder if you remove the glowplugs so the spray from the injectors dont hit the glowplug and go direct down...will that give some more power??

Hard to start the engine yes. but more power??

it will be nearly impossible to start unless you put a intake heater in. i think the engine was designed with the glowplugs inmind so removing them might hurt power. but im not forsure.
