Gear Oil Smell

I had my transmission serviced in June, (flush, filters and oil ) and I noticed an oil smell at the front of the truck after it has been parked for a couple of minuets. It kind of has a gear oil smell, there are no leaks of any kind under the truck. Truck runs fine, no issues like high temps or grinding noises. I find it puzzling that 6 months later i have this smell. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks
Ed

If you can upload the smell here we can ...j/k. Have you had an oil change recently. Shell rotella has a stink. Also could be grease smell from ball joints if they were done.

If it smells like gear oil I would be looking for a leaking axle seal.

You likely won't see anything from a leaking axle seal. They tend to throw the gear oil while driving and it is thick enough not to drip.

19118916 FRONT AXLE HOSE at the end is your 15743069 FRONT AXLE VENT which in under hood and I think it’s attached to the inner wheel well. Is where your smell is coming from? When was your front differential oil been changed?

Had oil changed in both differentials yesterday, which was long overdue, no leaks found. I think Rvn4me was right. Thanks to everyone who gave me a hand to get this figured out.
Merry Christmas.
