Fuel return leak, help?

Well at least I assume it is the return. I have a small leak on top of the tank. I can see the tank is damp and I get a good size drop every time I park it. I am guessing that it is the return line from the cooler to the tank, or maybe the sending unit where it connects.

My hope is to have the parts to fix it before I drop the tank, so I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this issue and had any insight.

TIA!

Have you checked your fuel fill line to make sure it has a good connection and not damaged?

I have not, but I know for sure it has something to do with the return line as it will drip while the engine is running and only a 1/4 tank of fuel.

My fuel gauge has always been off, shows empty with a 1/2 tank. So I decided it was just time to order a new sender and the hose that connects to return line and be done with it.
