P011A trouble code

P011A trouble code won’t clear. Before people say it’s a generic code. The truck was scanned with my EFI Live autocal my Edge CTS and a brand new Snap-On scanner. ECT coolant sensor correlation 1/2. Only have one ECT sensor on a 08 LMM. Could it be related to any IAT sensor or other sensors that read 5 volts. I tried changing the one sensor and the plug going into the ECT sensor also changed thermostats and anti freeze. Code will clear for about 8 seconds and comes right back on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

When did it start? Could your tune be from wrong year LMM?
When I had my '07.5 next to my '09, one had two ECT, and the other a single.

When I switched tuners I got a P0101 intake air then that went away and this P011A came on so it may be in the MAF and it’s just throwing this code P011A it’s definitely in the startup diagnostics. Should the IAT sensors both read the same temperatures

I don’t own a diesel but I always thought The LMM had two ECT (ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE) Sensors.

Why does your Snap-On scanner. ECT coolant sensor correlation 1/2
Doesn’t that mean you have two?

GM Part :15326386 SENSOR, Coolant Temperature (Engine Unit)
SENSOR,ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE(USED IN BOTH LOCATIONS)

DTC P011A: Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor 1-2 Correlation.
Check both coolant temperature sensor after the truck has been sitting for about 8 hours. Both sensors should be reading very closely to each other. One sensor is skewed. Both ECT sensors are right next to each other in the front the engine by the T-state.

Sorry if im way off, I’m sure someone on here can help more than me.

07.5 some had two. The LMM vans have two not the Silverado or Sierra LMM trucks only have one the tuner has checked numerous times for problems in the tunes neither he or I can find a problem with the tune. If I can find the wiring schematic for one with two ECT sensors I would just install one and tap it next to the other one and see what happens.

Again, with several LMMs in the fleet, I can assure you that, between my '07.5 and '09 Sierra pickup trucks, one year has TWO ECT sensors, while the other has ONE. The TWO were adjacent to each other in the thermostat cover, so, clearly, they had different thermostats covers, too.
I don't have access to either right now, but I'm 99% sure that it was the '07.5s that had TWO.

I've never had an '08 in the fleet.

Yeah it’s 07.5 that has 2 my 08 only has one. I’m thinking it maybe another sensor and just throwing this generic code. Anyone know if the intake air temp sensors should both be the same temperatures. I would think the one at the manifold would be higher then the one in the MAF Sensor.

If your truck had been sitting for hours, they may be the same, but if the engine was warmed, hot, etc, they would be different. I believe I checked this on my truck some time ago.

Are you using your block heater when this happens? And in very cold temps?
