DPF REGEN Fiasco

My day was altered by my DPF going into regen and I was in the middle of running around in town.

so I altered my plans so I could go out on highway and get the visious cycle complete

I believe the "operation: delete and tune" has just moved into the number one priority slot

You do know that you still just do your errands during regen, forget about it finish up your day.
Park your truck when your done even in the middle of a regen, then the next time you drive it’ll just start where it ended, then just plan on a short drive.


FYI, delete only the stock restrictive muffler your regens will go from approx 30 min/30 miles to 10 min/10 miles.
EGT’s will drop 150* - 175* durning regen, no stock muffler causing back pressure, allowing the exhaust flow.

I installed a EGT/Boost gauge the day I bought my truck new.
This was my first mod deleting stuff leaving the DPF in place.
In my photos, you can see the stock muffler flow I diagrammed on my muffler.

had the A/C looked at (compressor not engaging) - just needed a recharge. Also had mechanic check the EGR valve solenoid (it's not working) so ordering some parts (EGR valve and EGR cooler). Thought I would treat the Allison Trany to some new fluid, new filters (internal too), and an upgraded cooler - ordering the parts for that.

stomped on the pedal from like 5mph in hot tune and lit them up first time lighting them up. usually roll into it, left some cool dually rubber marks on road.

I have a 2008 dually, PVC reroute, Fass 165 LP,Rob tunes Efi live, PPE 3in down pipe and Flo pro 5in strait pipe exhaust. CTS2. HSP Y bridge and egr delete kit.HSP 3 inch hot side intercooler pipe,Trans jr kit and deep pan. Airaid intake. Deleted filter head.
