My truck went in for a oil change and state inspection today. I got the oil change but they wouldn't inpect it because I have a 5 inch turbo back straight pipe. Their excuse was because it didnt have a cat on it. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks-chris

Thank god the socialists haven't tried to take over this state again with "State Mandated Inspections". They tried with the emissions testing stations but, failed miserably years ago. Best of luck to you.

Well I talked to Tyler at Meyers performance and this is what we came up with. The stock exhaust comes in 3 pieces from the down pipe. The first piece that mates to the down pipe has the cat, the 2nd piece has the dpf, and the 3rd peice has the muffler going to the exhaust tip. What I'm going to do is use the stock 1st piece and I bought from him a cat back system. This system will mate up to the 1st peice of the stock exhaust and run all the way back with a muffler. this is so frustrating. I went to 4 different places today and nobody will inspect my not even a year old truck.
