Emissions in Maryland???

I live in Maryland and own a 08 LMM. I want to put a 5" MBRP turbo back on my truck but i am unsure about diesel emissions. can anyone help me or have any information on this? any idea whether or not i have to go through emissions etc.? thanks for the help

NO ,unless MD is different than every other state , NV just started and it goes back to the beginning of life! I would have kept my 06 if I knew.

if maryland started making diesels go through emissions only the new vehicles that come out after they passed the law would have to go....because we all know those old cum-a-parts and 7.3 powerjokes wouldnt pass

I finally switched to another EFILive tuner (that knows how to tune a LMM) and I'm a lot happier with EFILive and the way my truck is performing now.
2008 GMC SLT Ext Cab 3500 DRW 6X6. Loaded/w, nav, factory sunroof, sliding rear window, dual alts, high idle switch, factory trailer brake control, posi, cargo management rails.

Silverline SS turbo back single into dual exhaust, KSH aux 65 gal fuel tank/toolbox, LINE-X/LINE-X XTRA, Retrax truck bed cover, AMP Research BedStep, Factory GMC mudflaps, Reese 16K fifth wheel hitch, Kensun H.I.D. 6000 low beams and 4300 fog lights, EFILive, Edge Insight/EGT Probe.

One of my other vehicles is an 11 second 1987 Buick Grand National. The other is a 2010 Taurus SHO Red Candy Metallic Livernois Motorsports Stage 4+ tuned.

x2. This is why I am keeping my 06 for a long time. Im sure when they do start testing it will be a visual smoke test only. I say save you stock exhaust tailpipes and weld them on your bigger systems. Just like welding cats on a 5.0s x-pipe.
