I "think" the front diff would bolt in but I have to find a rearend out of a 2500HD. I think the shock mounts have to be modified a little but would or at least should bolt right in. I think I just have to make sure the ABS ring on the rear is the same. The 2500 or 1500HD is a 9.5" 14 bolt but mine is a 10.5" 14 bolt, semi-float rearend. They went to that with the GMT900 SUV IIRC.

That thought has crossed my mind but they are actually more rare than you think! A lot of them came with 3.73s. I can get the F/R gear sets for about $500 or so and I can do the work. Just finding a long weekend to do it......

If you can do the gears your self for 500 go that route. Hell if you ended up not liking the 4.10s you could do it again with 4.56s and still be way under the cost to pay someone!

PS you need to post a picture of your rig and trailer

Haulinbass - you still around?

Wondering how your Black Bear tune has been working out for you? I've been pondering doing the same thing to my 2010 Yukon XL 2500
