Torque Converter

2015 Sierra 3500 ,63000 miles Allison Trans check engine codes 0700 0741
Dealer to replace torque converter because it won't lock up, and was also running high temperatures. Problem Torque Converter back ordered. This is the third week awaiting back order.

29546573 CONVERTER, Transmission Converter CONVERTER,TORQUE $396.98 years 2011-2016 there’s over 300,000 that are in the system that are redly available.
P0741 means the converter is not locking. Most times it is just a fried converter clutch. Another problem is a pushed out stator shaft or stator shaft twisted. When the stator shaft pushes out or twists in the pump body bore, the feed holes no longer match up and pressure goes to sump instead of to where it supposed to go.

I would of ordered one and had it at my door in three days and took it to my dealer and saved $224.86
That’s enough saving for paying for labor.
