Thank-you very very much for the part numbers! My trans just started to act up on me, and when I called the local Allison dealer to order a new NBSU switch, they said "WTF is that?"

So, THANKS for the info!

I just picked up a pair of NSBU switches this week from the local Allison dealer.

Part #29540479 is tan, with 2 plugs, $43.74ea.

Went on my 04 LB7 with no problems.

NSBU is the Neutral Safety Back Up switch, it helps tell the the computer which gear your in, if you look at the side of your tranny where the linkage attaches you'll see a black or tan plastic thing with one or two connectors plugged into it.
