4l60e TC Lockup problems

1993 K1500 (title says c15, but it's 4wd so go figure?) 6.2l Diesel, 4l60e with recent pro rebuild (1 year ago).

It's going in and out of TC lockup while driving. I'm getting a code 32 and intermittent CEL. It seems to not do it when pulling a mild hill while locked, but bounces around of its own accord when on flats.

Brake lamps aren't on (had a friend follow me for 25 plus miles while on the phone no weirdness there) and TPS tested good at idle and WOT.

Do these vehicles have a MAP? That would be a logical cause. I just deleted the EGR, as it failed a week or so before trans issues emerged. I don't see how they could be related, unless the EGR soot plugged up the MAP somehow.

Thank you.

I have had the truck for 2 months, 90k total miles. Fluid is red, smells fine, level is good warm, seems a bit high cold though. Speedo is within 3mph of gps from 5-76mph.

This is mechanical injection or does it have a pmd?

It's mechanical. I have never heard of a 6.2 with PMD?

Solved

TPS is failing, WOT voltage had fallen to 3.6 volts and 0V at idle. Adjusted it all the way up and it's barely in spec. Shifting has returned 99% to normal, which will work until the new one arrived.

I have also learned something people should be aware of.

At least some late production 6.2l engines have a MAP (it's on the firewall on mine).
