kick down

hi there
i have a 95 g30 with 6.5 and 4l80e .
i am having trouble after rebuilding the ip, the tps is probably out of position. i have adjusted tps using voltmeter ,reading 0,5v on the middle wire.
this is recommended from the gm workshop. ihav tried also the adjustment for gasolin engines reading 0,64v .
now ,my problem is : i cant get the tranny to kickdown when flooring the throttle . whats wrong?? am i looking at the wrong place or???
when rebuliding the ip the housing was changed due too a mishap.
the new housing of course did not have timing mark so timing then was difficult . any suggestions??
please no bulls###
i am hoping some one here has the knowlegde.
