You are right, there's no way anyone could survive a center-mass hit with one of those things!!

I currently carry a HK P30SK. Once it gets warm and the bulky clothes go away, I'll go back to my Walther PPKS.

Looking at another purchase in either a 40, 10mm, 45 ACP pistol. I sold all of my striker fired rugers as I just couldn't get comfortable with them plus I wasn't happy with how they performed. Any Ideas out there? I own Springfield, Rock Island, Kimber, Colt, S&W, Sig Sauer and am wondering what else that is considered a moderate price firearm.

Take a look a the HK45C. Beware there is a LEM version, which has a very different trigger (which I don't like).

I would have already bought one but, I just drained the toy funds on a AR10.

I just built a 458 SOCOM and out to about 250 yards it is the shiznitz!

I don't have a need to go past that anymore I like it better than the 50 Beowulf based on shooting next to one for half a day.

I also vote for the 40 XDM as a carry mine serves well (size x quality x capacity x concealability) =
