Headed to Daytona on July 4th for Nascar race, Where to stay?

Booked the airfare and go the race tickets.

Where is a good safe place to stay? Havent been there in along time.

I went to the 500 back in '08, and we stayed in Orlando. Stayed in one of those vacation club resorts, got a good deal, but had to tell a salseman no for 4 hours during their timeshare sales pitch we were required to attend. From there it was only an hour drive to the track, but it was about 4 hours to get back. Seems like every Nascar race i go to, the local law enforcement finds a way to completely screw up traffic.
