It is, or commonly known up here as a skid steer or skiddy depending on who you're talking too.

I agree Berk, the only thing remotely dangerous is getting hit by a pitch or being a pitcher and getting hit by a ball that the batter just hit.

I agree, I have always called it a skid loader, I can remember the old man calling it a skip loader tho. Like I said I never knew why except maybe because they hop and skip around?

This writer sounds like a real butthole, he probably sits at home masterbating with a catchers glove. Hmmm, sit in the stands for hours watching someone swing a club at a ball or watch a bunch of insane bike riders jumping 50' in the air and running each other over. I will take the bikes hands down. Baseball to me is right up there with tennis and golf, BORING!!!!! Hell, i would rather watch a good game of ping pong!!!!

Forgot to mention, according to an industry insider that was in the press box next to the author of the article, the guy left at 5pm! Practice starts at like 4 and races don't get underway until 7:30! He was so "appalled" at the "destruction" of his precious grass that he couldn't handle it anymore.

http://www.insidesocal.com/tomhoffar...han-600-c.html

The guy has tried to state his "real opinion"

This comment from a reader sums it up very well despite the grammar.

"listen dude, dont try to backpeddle yourself. were not stupid. your articles focus was not on how many changes a stadium can undergo it was about us motocrossers. man up and apologize like a man. tell us your sorry you made fun of an entire community without any basis on how much of a family sport motocross really is. all you did was compare it to a brett michaels concert. maybe your so mad at brett michaels casue maybe thats where you were conceived after ur parents split a bottle of goldschlager. or maybe your hatred towards motocross comes from high school were the love of your life left your for the back seat of a cb450. either way i was always told if you dont have anything nice to say then keep your mouth shut. so i suggest maybe you should follow the golden rule and shut your mouth especially since you know nothing about motocross. you tryed to mock an entire community and what did we do? as a community we all stood together and stood up for ourselves. we dished back exactly what you dished to us, only difference is we got a possitive outcome and you did not."

BTW (and the author of the news article has no clue), Harley did make a dirt bike in the mid '70s. I rode one when I was a teenager.

MY BIG BROTHER HAD THAT!!! HE USED TO GIVE ME RIDES ON IT. ONE TIME HE DID A WHEELIE AND THE FORK TUBES LET GO AND THE WHOLE FRONT END CAME OFF AND WE BAILED, HARD. SWEET MEMORIES

i emailed him this

Yeah, you can’t tell you’re a flaming liberal after reading your article about the supercross. I thought the whole idea of news was to cover it SUBJECTIVELY?

Obviously you forgot that.

Maybe you would be better off covering the dog show, or a green energy conference, so you could drive your prius

Stick to reporting what you like. Leave the other stuff to the SUBJECTIVE reporters...if any still exist at the Liberal Always Times
