Cold air intake

Has anyone tried the cold air intake modification from coolmyduramax.com?
They say it is like the intake on the new d-max's. For $60 my '05 might love it.

I have the TxC cold air intake on my 05. I have not verified intake air temps before and after, but it seems to seal off the intake quite well from the engine compartment air. If you also do the airbox mod at the same time, I think that you will find that it works quite well, and will not cost you hundreds of dollars for the same result.

X2
I have the TxC cold air on my 04.5 LLY. Easy install and it used the stock filter that is cheaper than the 06 type.

I have one on my 2005 LLY. Easy to install, works, and the price is right.

Good product.......highly recomended. Cool your Duramax:

1. TX CAI Best place to start
2. V2 w/Fan Best save your pennies.
3. FanDamn All three for the ultimate in quiet large load cooling.

I'm saving up for the V2!

I have the CAI mod. Not sure if there is a difference or not since I keep re-tuning my truck but it definately can't hurt and like said above you get to keep the stock filter which is the best one on the market.

Add another happy customer to the list. The $60 route is trick, and effective. I cannot say the same for several other >$250 "CAI" kits. The
other benefit is that it is as stealth as you can get.
